I love the idea of month-long drawing challenges with prompts. I'd love to be that artist that could actually complete a month of challenges...but I am not. However, I love to attempt the challenge and do what I can!
With this, I can practice the daily painting principle that I wish to follow in the coming year. It was fun to use pen and ink again. I started using pen tips and dipping them in ink when I studied abroad in Italy. I loved the look of it, and I allowed myself to draw and paint loosely with the ink. In one plein air outing in Rome I spilled ink on a centuries old fountain. I was so embarrassed and my professor muttered curse words in Italian while furiously scrubbing the marble...I definitely left my mark!
